After answering many enquiries from bridal couples, l noticed the same kind of questions were being asked, so thought it would be best to include this FAQ page...

What kind of coverage do l get?
Each package states the hours of coverage you receive.  3 hours, 5 hours, 7 hours or 10 hours.  Your time starts from the moment we arrive at the first location, except if the first location is the Ceremony, then we arrive 30 minutes prior to ensure we capture the surroundings, the guests arriving, the nervous groom and your arrival.  Therefore if your ceremony started at 3pm, we would arrive at 2:30pm and your coverage time starts then.


Edited or Unedited footage?
All footage presented to you is edited, we edit the day into chapters, for example, Before the Ceremony, The Ceremony, The Photo Session, Reception & Speeches.  When you watch the DVD you will be able to watch it all the way through, or also go and watch specific chapters over and over again !!! 

You can also request to receive an unedited version also known as RAW footage for an extra $75.  But this is exactly how it was shot by our camera operator on the day, so there is normally a lot of moment as they move from one spot to another to ensure they capture the best footage. 


Raw Footage Packages ?
We now also have raw footage packages, if you'd like to do the editing yourself, the footage is supplied on hard drive or on a DVD.  This reduces the costs of your video package, but still ensures your day is full captured to be relived over and over again. 


Do l get to choose my own music?
Absolutely, it's your DVD and we want you to enjoy your favourite songs with the fantastic footage of your wedding day.  If you don't have any ideas for music, l normally would use some of the music that has been used on the day, such as in the church or during the signings of the registry. 


Is there music over the ceremony?
No, there is only the music that is played within the church or during the ceremony that included on the DVD, no extra music is added, only at the introduction of the chapter and then it fades out.  You will hear all the vows & readings from the ceremony. 

The only time there would be music over the ceremony, is in the highlights chapter, where music will run over the top of all footage. 


I've booked the package, but may need extra time added onto the end of the day (if running behind) are we able to do that?
Yes, you can always add extra hours on top of your package. It's very easy to lose track of time, and things run a little off schedule.  Extra hours can be added on the night, they are $150 per hour and are charged at 15min intervals.  We are always more than happy to stay back to ensure everything is captured. 


How can l pay for my booking?
You can pay your deposit or full payment into my bank account by Bank Transfer or Paypal if wanting to pay by credit card.  A 2.5% PayPal charge is applicable, l can send you the Paypal invoice if wanting to pay by credit card. 

I also have a special, that if you pay in FULL for your booking, you will receive 3 extra copies of your completed DVD's for free, valued at $120.  These make prefect bridal party gifts or presents for the parents. 


Who will be filming my wedding?
I currently have other Camera Operators working for me.  I will always take the first booking & depending on availability, you will either get Chris Grove, Glen MacKay, Artierum or Stephan Mack.  I will always let you know who will be filming your day upon time of booking. 


What kinds of Cameras do you use. 
We all shoot in widescreen, on HD cameras.  These are all professional video cameras, capturing in the highest quality. 


How long does it take before l can view my wedding DVD?
Ensuring you have paid in full and we have received photographs from your Photographer or yourselves and music, you can expect to receive your first cut of your DVD within 4 to 6 weeks. 


Can l make changes to my Wedding DVD?
Yes, you will receive one copy once we have finished the first cut of the DVD, this allows you to look at it and make any changes you might like, such as some footage removed, changes to the DVD cover and any photos we may have used.  Once those changes are made, all the remaining copies are made up and posted to you. 

Any further changes after the first review is charged at $75 per hour.
