  1. RIP
    Mitch
Mate those Early 4x4trips In your first four-wheel-drive and the 10 day hike across the overland track Are some of my fondest memories
I remember the first day we met you came for a job interview so I took you up in the 19 meter full height just to see how you would go and you just stood there with your big cheesy grin admiring the view
You were easily one of the best and hardest workers I ever had
A gentle giant with a heart of gold you will be missed

  5. Knuckles Farmer – The memories will live forever.
    THE GOOD
Hard work, lots of laughter and a beer after
    THE BAD
Hanging out the bucket up side down by my belt, trying to hold on to a branch you cut off (ya bugga)
    THE UGLY
Fighting with you over who was taking what from Hard Rubbish piles as we went about our cyclic cut program. But we worked out a plan to use Wally’s tipper to bring it all home. Trans-waste had nothing on me and you!
Sincere condolences to Lois and family
    R.I.P Mitch

  8. That was a wonderful service to celebrate the life of a truly wonderful man.
There will always be a place in my heart for you Mitch. I treasure my memories of you and all of the unforgettable stories you shared with me. I still have some of your hand-drawn maps to wicked camping spots. They are even more special to me now.
It must be time for another coffee. Just instant, nothing gourmet.
    Rest in peace my friend.

  12. RIP Mitch. I had the pleasure of working with Mitch in my first 6 months in the tree industry over 12 years. He was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to work with. Hard working, pride in his work and made the hardest of jobs look easy. He didn’t tell you how good he was, he just showed you. Very humble man and a gentle giant. I’ll never forget the working with Mitch on the recovery work after Black Saturday. He was in his element up there. Removing the hardest and most dangerous trees and doing it at his ease. He’s the only bloke who could hold a 66 with the big bar and make it look like a climbing saw.

He loved working in the area of hard garbage and he could always suss out a great item. Great stories and tributes. He will be sorely missed by every one who knew him. RIP mate
