Adele was always so kind and gentle and full of JOY. The Lord blessed her abundantly with courage and endurance for a life that could have been coloured by obstacles but instead was truly victorious!!
I loved knowing Adele since I was a teenager at Mitcham Baptist Church. She always encouraged me and cared for so many and always had a sparkle in her smile.
Thank you for sharing the thanksgiving service on line today so I could share in it too.
It has been a privilege to attend the thanksgiving service for Adele, albeit by streaming medium.
We have been friends for over 60 years and throughout that time Adele has proved to be faithful and loyal to her faith with a ready smile to all as she imparted evidence of her lasting integrity. She was a true servant of her Lord and Saviour.
A lovely service for a very gentle and caring lady, devoted to her loving Heavenly Father.
We knew Adele through our time of interim ministry at Kilsyth many years ago as well as through the connection she had with my sister Nancy Thomas from Shepparton Baptist.
We were grateful Nancy was able to take several holidays with Adele after Nancy’s husband passed away and we noticed the photos you included of them when they were on one of their trips.
Adele also mended some doileys by crocheting for me so I knew of her love and skills with her crocheting and knitting.
We pray you know God’s comfort as you feel the loss of Adele.
Blessings,
Jenny and Geoff Rowse
I’m so glad I could be part of the service thanking God for Adele’s life today, and I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there in person.
Adele was always faithful, always loving, always cheerful, always kind, always encouraging, always supportive, always smiling, always prayerful. She was a great friend to Glynis and I thank God for the encouragement and support Adele provided to Glynis over the many years of their friendship.
Adele was an inspiration and example to many in how to live a faithful and godly life.
Indeed today we can say ‘well done good and faithful servant’, knowing that Adele is rejoicing in the presence of her Lord.
Adele was always such a joyous, genuine and beautiful soul … with an ever-present smile. I had the absolute pleasure to spend many years with her on the KSBC Kids Hope Team. Adele was a continual inspiration to us all and just gave everything she had to the kids she mentored. She gave her very very best at all times and it was clearly obvious the kids adored her. I will never forget Adele … as she faithfully cared for and showed a genuine interest in Jo and I … and especially our girls. Bless you Adele – until we meet again. Jamie and family
Hi Glen and family,
We were unable to attend the service today in person but watched online. It was lovely to hear more about Adele’s full life and her faith in her Lord. May you know the comfort and presence of our Lord as you grieve for Adele and allow Him to embrace you in His loving arms.
