  2. Dear Di and family,
What a wonderful tribute and farewell for Berta.
My love and thoughts are with you all as you come to terms with losing her.
I’m no seamstress but maybe she’ll assist me in sewing straight lines on her sewing machine!!!
God speed to your forever place Berta, you will be sadly missed.

  3. A lovely service for Berta!

I have terrific memories of Berta growing up; she was a wonderful Auntie to my father, John and loved to share her memories of her life.

Full of life, one of the nicest people I met. Proud to be related to her.

    End of an era..

  4. That was a beautiful service celebrating the life of Berta. I have fond memories of her when I was young. She was a caring, gentle lady. I remember often talking about Berta and her siblings, and visiting them.
On my wedding day in 2006, she caught the train from Warrnambool to Malvern in Melbourne to attend my wedding and reception. That really meant a lot to me that she made the effort to do that.
    Thinking of you all today,
Georgette Conti (daughter of John and Desma Burford)

  5. What a celebration of the life of our lovely Nanna!
She was gentle, kind and showed unconditional love for her family. The images and the video are a touching tribute to our beautiful Nanna.
It was so special to hear the recollections of those who spoke.
    We will miss Nanna.
