  5. To have known both Alister and Jane Macleod was a privilege which my wife Trish and I were fortunate to have been in their company over many years. We toiled and enjoyed so much with our membership of the Robert Burns Club of Melbourne and the Victorian Scottish Union whilst attending so many meetings, Highland Gatherings and the Burns Statue Service in the city Gardens. “So Mote It Be’ as we bid farewell to a fine gentleman. 6. Hi Blair and Macca.

I watched the service this morning. Well done you two on putting together a great tribute to your Dad. It was great to hear about your Dad’s travels from Scotland to Australia and how well he settled In and started life with your mum and you two. You should be really proud. See you soon. Love Jol
