After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Liefs, Esther
Thanks for sharing, glad to have been able to join in. He’d been proud of what you put together yet also throw in a few jokes to lighten up everybody, that’s how he was – as little as I met him personally, the enjoyable stories are uncounted for.
Warm regards for you all
I watched the ceremony today when I got home from work. It was very touching to hear your personal, loving and honest memories of your (grand-)dad. Thanks to all of you for offering us in Holland this opportunity! ❤
On this overcast morning in Frankfurt, Germany, 5 degrees above zero, I just watched the funeral service of my uncle Tom. My late mother and Ellen are sisters. I shouldn’t say I enjoyed the service, a funeral is not something to be enjoyed, but I am really glad to have been able to see, hear and feel part of the ceremony and see my aunt and cousins and their families. The short story of Tom’s life, beautifully read out by Richard , filled in some vacant spots in my mind. For instance, I knew there was something swedish about uncle Tom, and now I learned the after-the-war story of that link to Sweden. Later in the service I liked the slide show of his pictures: Tom almost always smiling his big smile, the way I remembered him the three or maybe four times I’ve met him in my life.
Paradoxically, this memorial service at uncle Tom’s death, with all the heartfelt stories of Mark and Pablo and Robyn and some grandchildren, made him come to life for me!
Thank you for having made that possible.

Lieve familie,
Oom Ton rust in vrede.
