  1. It was a privilege to assist the family in the celebration of life of Bernie and in sharing some of the details of his significant WW2 service with 2/6th Commando Squadron. He was one of our last WW2 Commando veterans.
RIP Bernie and Lest We forget.

  3. On behalf of Patricia Loorham & our family, I would like to say we are thinking of you all.
Mum moved into D7 at Bupa & became Bernie’s neighbour & friend. Mum & Bernie would spend many hours talking in the dining room. It was an absolute pleasure to know Bernie. I personally loved listening to his stories & mum will continue to feed the birds.
A truly beautiful man, so kind, gentle with a heart of gold. He will be missed by all.
Fiona Orr & family on behalf of Patricia Loorham x

  4. Farewell to our dear friend, Bernie. A wonderful man who lived all aspects of his life with absolute modesty. His service to his country & his brigade was exceptional.
Our deepest sympathy to his family.
