Bernie You were a neighbour and although I did not know you well you were always a friendly presence who always smiled and said hello and stopped for a chat. I was so sad to learn of your passing. Mum (Gerti) reminisced about teaching Sunday School last night and wondered about whom we knew as Bernard Jr, ‘that very bright boy’. Bernie clearly grew up to become all we could have imagined and hoped for him.
We pray for comfort and peace for Bernie’s family and friends.
Heroes get remembered, but Legends never die. Will be thinking of you when the bombers finally get it done mate! ♥️
