  1. Cam was a man who was truly the hands and feet of Jesus on this earth. I have never met you Anna but your tribute was amazing and so heartfelt and my heart aches for you at this time. I was blessed to work with Karen for many years at BHC while Cam was a student. I have fond memories of her reaching out to others and showing this same unconditional love which he has also passed on to many. Sending love from all of us to your family at this time. Al, Gary, Sam, Jess, Ben and Harley xxxxxx

  2. Dear Ray, Karen, Joshua and family members.

    Sending my deepest condolences.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I pray that Jesus wraps His arms of love around you and wipes your tears as you wait to be reunited on the resurrection morning.

    Janine Pye & family.

  3. What a beautiful tribute that was for a man that was clearly loved greatly by many.

Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. Sending you much strength for the days ahead, and much love also. You are in our thoughts, and our prayers.

  4. Ray and Karen, Ana, Josh and Lorinda, and the extended Ferry clan,

I can’t begin to comprehend the pain and loss of Cam’s untimely passing. Most of my recollections of Cam center around my high school home economics classes, where he at times (as a toddler) loudly disagreed with our teacher (his patient mother).

It is a abundantly clear that through Cam’s life, God has been, and still is reaching out to others – encouraging, challenging, and uplifting them.

May the same God that inspired Cam, comfort, sustain, and lead you forward to that glad day when we will all meet again.

Deepest condolences from Ross, Christine, Alana, Timothy, Nathan, and Heather.

  5. What a beautiful service to honour such an inspirational and godly individual. We are so, so sorry for your great loss. We are praying for you all. May the Lord hold you all so very close in his loving arms.

  10. What a beautiful man of God! I didn’t know Cam very well but what rings true is that he really did make you feel worth something when he spoke to you. He was absolutely hilarious and truly fun loving! Ana I loved seeing the life and memories you shared today unfold on fb over the years and this beautiful tribute to him was absolutely touching. What he leaves behind is an inspiring message to all of us, to help us strive to be the JESUS he was like to so many! I do remember one encounter of when Ana and Cam started dating and Ana was going running and I remember Cam smiling as he announced he was going to try keep up with Ana! I can see his smiling face like it was yesterday, at the Ferry’s house in Mildura! You guys were perfect for one another!

My heart breaks for you all precious family. May you all be comforted by Gods holy angels and be held close as you learn a different kind of dance for now. My heart felt condolences to you all!!!

    Much love to you all
    Love Melby Thomas

  11. Ana, it was a privilege to meet you and Cam amongst the Japanese snow – two Gold Standard humans.
My thoughts are with you, and with the whole Ferry Fleet.
I have found soft black bunnies to be pretty good company in times of distress xx

  12. To Cameron’s beautiful wife Anna, family (Lorinda x) & dear friends Conrad & Brooke.
Having only come to know of Cameron through Ideas Digest – I had but a brief and fleeting connection with this giant of a man. But as I see here albeit in a brief encounter he embodied all these amazing genuine characteristics that you have spoken of in this memorial.
What heartbreak to lose such a dance partner. My heart aches for your loss.

His impact even to virtual strangers as I thought I was- in each genuine, loving & inclusive interaction we will never be able to measured. But as with most things in life we find out that we are all connected more then we realise. It was that connection & that prayer, that I felt in the way your Cameron lived his big beautiful life. Sending you love and peace.

  13. This was one of the most beautiful and touching services I’ve been able to attend, probably because Cameron’s life was like that. I feel like the reflection on his life outshone the separation. I hope you all felt the love and support from us online. So much love and prayers for you all. <3

  14. A beautiful and touching celebration of Cams life. He will be sorely missed but fondly remembered. We are holding you all in our hearts and prayers.

  15. What a beautiful capture of the dance with God as Partner. We are inspired. Moved…. Cam’s life was a testimony. What a legacy.

    Love,
    Kendell and Lanelle

  16. Dear Karen, Ray, Anna, Josh and Lorinda.
Our heart felt condolences for your loss.
    Love Tricia and Richard

  17. My earliest memories of Cam were when we served at Revive Church together. He was always up for a laugh, had a warm smile and made anyone feel welcome and included. When we had long discussions about planning church, life, theology, careers or faith, he made you feel like the most important person in that moment.
My last memories of Cam are when I was in Japan snowboarding with him, Ana and a group of others a few years ago. It was such a brilliant trip and he seemed at home on the mountains. An intellectual, traveller, deep thinker, lover of life. Thankyou for the broadcast of the service today. Much love to Ana and the extended Ferry family. I’ll see you on the snow again soon Cam.

  18. Brad and I are heartbroken for you all. Such beautiful words said about an amazing person. We have you in our thoughts xx

  19. Ana, Karen, Ray, Josh and Lorinda, May God be close to you all during this part of the dance, may He comfort you as you wait to be reunited with Cam on that glorious day.

We all look forward to that place where there is ‘no more death, sorrow or crying’ and ‘God will wipe away all our tears’ (Rev 21:4). My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  21. Heartfelt prayer for God’s comfort for you Ana, Cam’s family and friends. Love and loss are never a great mix. At some point in your journeys may Love, precious memories and God’s great promise of Hope outshine all else.
