  1. What a beautiful, joyous, heartfelt celebration of a great man! I am left completely inspired and awed by the love Chris had for his family, friends and community, and it was really such a privilege to get to be a part of such a wonderful celebration of Chris’s life. I don’t ever recall a time when Chris didn’t have a huge smile on his face, and I know he would have been watching down with a huge grin. Love to you all and may he rest in peace. I hope he’s having an Austin Powers-ish boogie up above. No doubt he would be 🙂

  2. What a beautiful, joyous, heartfelt celebration of a great man! I am completely inspired and awed by the love Chris had for his family, friends and community. Louise, Liz, Kath and all of his family and friends spoke so beautifully and authentically, and it was really such a privilege to get to be a part of such a wonderful celebration of Chris’s life (eventhough I couldnt be there in person). I don’t ever recall a time when Chris didn’t have a huge smile on his face, and I know he would have been watching down with a huge grin. If only I could have tried one of these notorious green smoothies haha! . I hope he’s having an Austin Powers-ish boogie up above. No doubt he would be 🙂 from Ash Tyrrell

  3. My name is Sabine. I am Louise’s cousin.
It was a very beautiful funeral ceremony. We followed it digitally from Germany.

Whenever I eat blueberries I think of Chris.
We went for ice cream with Louise and Chris in Heilbronn. I ordered a blueberry cup and Chris said that blueberries are very healthy and contain a lot of oxidants.

Condolences from Sabine, Stephan, Oliver and Dennis.
We will also show the video to Anni and Feri.

  4. I am Mark Miller, a long time friend of Chris. It was a pleasue to experience life together and learn from each other. Lessons Chris taught me are still a large part of who I am, and I thank you for sharing. Love comes in many forms, but always lives in the heart. Rest in peace my dear friend, we will meet again down the road.

  5. Sorry we cant be there in person but have watched the entire live stream from Perth. We send all our love and condolences to the Shaw family, we are so sorry he is gone from your lives so soon. The Beards will all miss him greatly, he was a kind and wonderful presence in our lives for over 30 years, in Digby’s case even longer…it was a 40 year long friendship. All our best, Digby, Di and Perri Beard.

  6. Sorry we could be there in person. What a beautiful setting as a background in paying homage to Chris. A true celebration with colour, touching memories shared with love and humour just the way Chris wanted.
We will cherish the tributes and stories told including Louise and Chris going to airport separately! It was a great way to honour Chris’s life – a man of many talents and immense love. May he rest in peace.

  7. I am Mark Miller, a long time friend of Chris. It is a wonderful warm spot I have in my heart for him and his memories we shared. I am sad I cannot be there in person, but so grateful to have this wonderful
technology to enjoy this celebration of Chris. Cheers to you mate, and I am sure I will “see you down the road”. I just love that circus expression for goodbye, This captures my optimism that we can all gather together again. Thank you.
