  4. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day today and I wish I was there to give you all a hug. The stories Clare’s close friends shared made me both laugh and cry. The memories of her laughing with tears streaming down her face when she was sharing a funny story are oh so true and I can picture her doing just that. To her dear family and friends, you did her a great honour today. Those who met Clare were blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of her life.

  5. To Clare’s family and friends, I watched the live stream funeral and am glad that I was able to share it with you, if not in person, but in spirit. It was a beautiful tribute to her life and it was lovely to hear more about Clare’s childhood and adventures. Though I hadn’t seen her for some time, we shared many fun times along with other Melb Uni colleagues. My heart goes out to you in your grief. Best wishes Debbie Reichert (McSwain)

  6. My heart goes out to your family. I hope loving memories of Clare comfort you, as she will always live in your hearts.

  7. I worked closely with Clare during her time at UTS but sadly lost contact when she moved back to Melbourne. Personally, Clare taught me to have a much greater discipline in my work practices and set up systems to ensure that her legacy remained long after she left us. We shared many jewellery and travel stories, as well as photography. She was always there smiling when I walked into the office in the morning and usually still there smiling when I left. She made a huge difference to our unit and we were lucky to have experienced both her work ethic and output but also her always happy and friendly personality. So many here were shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, myself included. Thank you for sharing her with us.

  8. My love to Aunty Margaret, Uncle John, Catherine, Frances & James.

  12. Clare, I will always remember the chat we’ve had and the laughter we have shared. I agree. You are an authentic person. I shall remember your laugh and your smile. I had a dream just before I work up this morning. I had gone back into the past and you were there at a large gathering, with a few of the faces from the past. Alf was there. You were laughing at a joke and we hugged each other. It’s been a while but you are part of my good memories. Rest happy Clare Jones. Love, Mae

  19. It’s still so surreal, I keep thinking about all the after work drinks we’d have at UTS – having a laugh and talking long into the night at the pub when we all should have gone home! Clare was always so much fun to work with and that’s why we all became friends with her x
