Thank you for the wonderful service in memory of your dear Mother, Cynthia. I have known Cynthia for many years as a fellow parishioner at St. James and she was so warm, caring and loving, always willing to be of help. For several years she was part of the team I co-ordinated to make Palm Crosses for Palm Sunday (I believe this was a custom she would have learnt in South Africa as a child in preparation or Confirmation). May you all be comforted in the knowledge that she is now free of all earthly pain and safe in the everlasting arms of her Lord and Saviour. With my love and prayers Marlene
Dearest Cynthia, you were kind, gentle and a beautiful and gracious soul and Roger and I truly loved you. Blessed were we at St.James to have had you with us all as you praised and worshipped our Lord whom you loved so very much. Now with Terry and all your loved ones, may you have the eternal peace which you deserve. We will miss you, Cynthia. To the children, grandchildren, Yvonne and her sisters, do Roger and I convey our sincerest condolences. May God grant you all, His peace and strength in the future.
Much love.

You are a tribute to both your mum and dad. I loved your mum deeply and will miss her so much. She used to call regularly and we would laugh and sometimes cry together. I love her for always being there for me in my loneliest moments and for fighting my corner.

We remember the ever-smiling face of Cynthia, a caring, compassionate friend. Your departure has left a gap in our world because of your unique qualities.
Your family were our first friends when we arrived in Australia in 1981. Our children and yours spent many happy times together. We still speak with great love of those times.
Those of us who are left behind will feel less sharply the sorrow as time goes by but will always feel the love.
You leave us but go to join your beloved Teddy. Fly high with the angels until we meet again.
Aunty Cynthia, we will always remember the kindness you showed us and how inclusive you were when the kids and I joined the family. You were a welcoming, cheerful, kind, ebullient presence that will always be both appreciated and missed. Relax now and enjoy your joyful eternity with Uncle Teddy.
