Gave us accommodation for first few days until we settled down. Next you visited me to see how I was. Next I came back to say ‘thank you’ when I completed my exams. I shall cherish your warm words. The support that you gave me. The smile of yours that is still my memory. May you rest in peace.

I am a distant cousin of Danasiri–I really admired and honoured him the way he treated Chatra when she was so ill while we were University students. Also proud that someone from my Mother’s side of the family was so devoted to his “girl friend” I had the honour of being in their home to have a meal.when I visited Australia in the 90s.
