  11. Debbie, I’ve been thinking the last couple of weeks about our car trips to Bendigo, in our late teens, to visit our roommate boyfriends. I always looked forward to the drive up with you, there was so much laughter, coffee and chatter during that car ride. You had such a great laugh. It was great to hear today all the significant things you did with your life since then, none of it surprising considering how smart you were and always such a good listener. I hope you’ve finally found peace. Sandra

  12. Such a blessing To be so close to you all even from such a distance away. Great memories brought to mind again. Shall keep you in my prayers. Anita Lane.

What a beautiful farewell to a person who brought so much joy to my life. I enjoyed the wonderful photos with all the smiles and fun. It was lovely to see all of you even though it was through a screen. Jocelyn – you did that letter to Deb great justice and captured all the nuances that I felt when I wrote it! – thank you! And thank you for including it in the service – it means a lot to me. Lisa – what a great eulogy, funny, candid and heart felt. What great older sisters/second mums you were.
