  3. Fred it was great knowing you Cousin from our growing days, and till when we last spoke last year about Chelsea!
Also remembering the earlier times you came back home to the UK, and to the ‘Shoults partys’ and meet up, and having a catch up on your new life in Australia. They gave you a good send off, which it was for a special person.
You’ve left far to soon Fred, your going to be so missed by all!
Rest in peace Fred until we all meet again.

    Love from Steve & Family

  5. Hi Nicky
I watched the service on my phone and was so glad that it was made available as I was babysitting and couldn’t find anyone to take my place.
Still find it hard to believe and feel for you and Nathan.
He was certainly one of a kind and will be remembered by everyone who met him.

  6. Nicky, Nathan and all the family, please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Fred

  9. Bro, it is difficult to contemplate how matters unfolded and their timing in all our lives. I can only wish that we will catch up again in another presence with even more purpose and a lot more sensitivity.
See you then bro so that we may then mend the things unsaid and move forward together…
You had a great and loving send off from those attending your passing ceremony. You would have been proud if you had popped your head out of the coffin for a moment or two.
I learned a little more about you and so hope to relax more, enjoy my loved ones emulating some of the fun elements you were shown to have had particularly in Melbourne, Australia.
Until we meet Fred – remembering when we last met after mum’s passig and at this moment missing you more than I ever thought was possible… William x.

  10. Dear Nicky, Nathan & Fred’s family, knowing Fred for the time I did will always hold a special place in my heart. Fred made me feel so welcome when I joined APA 10 yrs ago & became a close colleague & friend in & out of work. He introduced me to ‘travellers’ on our way to the Xmas parties, cooking up a storm in the work kitchen & the fun on the floor with ‘show & tell’ times. The sharing of our love of UK treats in crisps & chocolate & memories of places back home brought so much fondness for Fred. His smile, laughter & joking side won us all over & the help he was always willing to give, no matter what, will remain in my heart. I’ll miss you Fred & my heart goes out to you Nicky, Nathan & family at this time of sorrow. Thinking of you.

  11. Dear Nicky, Nathan and all Fred’s loving family,
Losing the one you love is very hard and especially when it happens so tragically. I am praying hard that you all find peace, comfort and for whatever you need right now. He will be deeply missed. Vale Fred.

  12. So gutted….. My deepest condolences to Nicky & family.
Worked with Fred for many many years in the gas industry from Gas & Fuel days to present. Shared lots of knowledge & had many laughs. He had such a great sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by myself & a lot of employees & contractors.
There will now be big shoes to fill within the company. Was a very big privilege to have worked with Fred. Rest in peace Fred, you will not be forgotten.

  13. Thanks for the memories Freddie, it’s been a pleasure to know you. Top bloke and I’ll miss you. My thoughts are with you and your family and friends. RIP.

  16. My old mate Freddie, the Octopus, has gone to the great football field in the sky. You will leave a big hole in many of our lives mate and there will always be something missing when we run out on to the park from now on. Thanks for the memories, the laughs and for being part of everything we did. Will miss you. RIP Freddie.
