Dear Rita and Kailash
I have always known that you married into an incredibly close family. With the help of all this technology even though physically far apart this sad, sad event has brought you ever closer together. You have bravely said that you will get through this. With Jeeva living on in your heart and the hearts of all who knew him, you will.
Our love to you – Vanessa and George
It was such an honour to have met you Captain Mark.
You were always so happy and I really appreciate that you wanted to spend time with me and tell me your stories, or have a long discussion about something.
Mark was very welcoming of my husband Shentot during his visits to Australia from Indonesia, even before we got married. I am very grateful that he tried to help my husband feel comfortable.
I will miss you Mark. Especially when you would try to interrupt all the time while I was trying to talk to Rita. You would want to stop our conversation midway to tell me all about your television, viewing schedule. I really did want to hear all about it. Hilarious.
Lots of good memories.
Safe journey my friend.
Watch over us all from the gardens of heaven.
Our heartfelt condolences to you all and we share the grief as Capt Mark was a good friend who visited our house with Rita in Upper Thomson Road long back. His departure came all of a sudden and can understand the loss felt by you as well as his good friends but nevertheless, let us all live our life with good memories of him in many gatherings and with his unstoppable smile.
Dear Rita, Sham n Kailash n the Markandoo family. This is so very sad but somehow in our hearts we know he is in a better place. Stay strong n keep the memory alive n strong. Hugs to you all.

Hi Jeeva Anhe,
The anchor is released and the flag is at half mast while the ship blasts its horn. The marine officers in their suits line up on the deck to bid you farewell. An official salute to an officer and a gentleman. Wishing you a peaceful glide down the 7 seas and into the arms of heaven! You will be missed and memories will be cherished!
Our deepest condolences to you. The ceremony was beautiful and so peaceful, really meaningful and truly dedicated to the life of uncle Jeeva. So blessed that we could be there with you in spirit via this portal. Please stay strong during this time and know that uncle Jeeva is in a beautiful place with not a worry in the world. ♥️
Sending lots of love and positive vibes all the way from Singapore.
First, our heartfelt condolences and we are still in a state of shock. We have known Jeeva for a very long long time and we stayed close all the years. It has been hard writing these lines, because we couldn’t find the exact words to describe our close relationship that we shared and enjoyed. One of the most generous person that we know of, very easy going & simple and a true dedicated friend.
Over the last few years, we have spent time in each other’s house many times and we always enjoyed his company. I recall in 2010 when we visited Melbourne and he was returning to Singapore, without any hesitation he offered us his home to use during our visit to Melbourne.
In the last few years, either in KL or Singapore, we would enjoy wine or beer till the wee hours. Just two weeks before his passing we had a great chat about his weight gain and i was so happy for him.
Rita, we are sorry that we could not attend but he will always remain in our minds and heart.
