The Funeral Service
After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
This service will have a password applied once edited (normally within 3 to 5 days following the service), you will then need to contact the family for the password to access.
Following the service, the footage will be posted and you can watch at a later time if you were unable to watch at the time of the service.
Thank you very much for sharing the video of the funeral with us. It was greatly appreciated.
We both felt we were there with you all, and it enabled us to say our own goodbyes to Louis.
Thank you once again for making it possible for us here in the UK to be part of the service.
With warmest regards,
Lieke and David Cotton.
Our deepest condolences on this loss to all.
But what a full and remarkable life Louis had.
And out of sight is not out of mind; Most of the time it’s the small things we keep remembering, e.g. his, most of the times annual, way of adventurous entrance at the Cantharel in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands (with only a few things on his mind: how are you, where do I leave the car, what are we going tot eat and drink, and do you have pictures).
Dear Louis, we salute you: PROOST!
Tijn, Hanneke & Michiel van der Hoeven
Well done family, nice to see you all fit. Good to see Louis in this sustainable coffin! Same as my sister Joyce this year. Thank you for the nice fotoshow, he was so much loved over here in Holland!
Thank you very much for allowing us to follow the farewell service from the Netherlands. We watched Louis’s life pass by. We cherish our memories of our striking uncle Louis and his family. Kind and warm regards from Hans & Andrée and family
Marjolein, Mareka, Lucia, Hans, Skye and the boys…..What a gift to be able to join you live in Melbourne from NYC and celebrate the life of your amazing father whom I was fortunate to meet on the Cape. Your father was a class act, a consummate gentleman and beloved father and friend to so many. He was hard not to love as he looked so much like my dad. You were blessed to call him “father,” as I am blessed to call Marjolein the sister I’ve never had. I pray that the memories you all hold and the signs and kisses from heaven you will no doubt be receiving in the days to come will sustain and comfort you and continue to light your way until the promised reunion in the Scriptures. Godspeed. All my love, Missy
PS. I know I spelled Mareka’s
