Ngaire, my thoughts are with and the family at this sad time. “Good memories last forever”

  2. Uncle Gus was the first stop when Christina and I travelled from Austria to Australia many years ago. We were only 17, knew almost nothing about this beautiful Country, but Gus helped us with all details for the trip, showed us Melbourne and the Great ocean road. Gus welcomed us warmely and I have only the best memories of our stay at his place, it was such a funny time. RIP.

  3. We will remember fondly your lively discussions at the Box Day barbeque. Will open a bottle for you. You will be missed.

  4. Thank you for a sensitive and informative farewell to our good friend Gus Zeilinger.
The remeniscences and tributes, both spoken and from Gus’ distant family – especially aided from the “box of tricks” were particularly apt.
We have fond memories of Gus and Ngaire from the time they joined the API Wine Club, both for their appreciation and understanding of wines (and good Scotch) and for the wider enjoyment of life and people.
We were honoured to attend Gus’ 80th birthday celebration and meet his Austrian family.
Gus’ smile and sense of humour will remain with us.
Farewell to Gus and our sincere condolances to Gus’ son and to Ngaire.
    Alison and Giff

  5. Dear Marco and Ngaire,

Thank you so much for giving us the chance to be part of Guses service. It was a wonderful ceremony and we had a lot of moments where we could laugh and remember Gus as he was.

With saying goodbye we’ll drink a glass of wine (or two) and keep him in mind.
