  7. I feel very lucky to have been able to watch the service from Gippsland being so far away. It was a beautiful service and I could relate to so much of what you said about Josie. Stephen and myself loved having her up here when Lluisa was here and we all used to meet up in Melbourne when we could. Mum (Lola Sans) was in communication with Josie all her life as you know, thick as thieves when it came to Catalan history and sharing it with others. I too find it hard to remember all the stories but so glad I have some written down. Josie used to tell me so much about it all. Even though I didn’t get to see Josie very much in the last few years I will miss her strength and vitality but know it will live on forever.

  8. Thank you for providing this opportunity to be part of this important occasion, it has been much appreciated. I was very moved by the tributes to Josie and particularly by Anita’s heart-warming eulogy, a truly remarkable send-off for a family legend. And good to see Catie, Jack and Geoff contributing to the ceremonial occasion. Vale Josie.
