Loving tributes from you both, Shane and Robyn for your dad Jim. Fond memories of him with his time at CRC Traralgon and up at Tamboritha. You really captured the essence of the man, greatly admired and loved by all who knew him. In our prayers here at Marist House Fitzroy.
Lovely words from all of you. Thoughts and kind regards to you, Chris, and all of the family.
Barry and Wendy, and also on behalf of all of Jim’s friends at the Harriers.
To Chris, Shane, Amanda, Robyn, Kevin, Tony, Mary, John and family,
I can only imagine the depth of loss you feel. Jim was a true friend from the first time I called to see the family at Yinnar when I was chaplain with the Deaf Community, operating from the John Pierce Centre.
Chris and Jim were so generous and loyal, not only to the John Pierce Centre but to a myriad of many other community groups.
Jim was a man of tangible faith who poured out his life for many.
Well done, Jim. enjoy eternal rest.
Thank you Robyn and Shane for the eulogy. you both did so well.
My sympathies, Fr. Greg Bourke

Jim Chris and family
I only got to know Jim in his last years as a member of the Catenian’s Catholic Men’s Group.
On the occasions I was able to chat to Jim on the phone or at our meetings, he was always so positive even whilst undergoing treatment.
He loved life and we were able to witness this when he spoke at our meeting about his time in the Railways and all of his other jobs during his career. In our calls it was evident how much he loved his grand children always telling me he loved seeing them
He will be truly missed by family and friends and the wider community
To Jim’s family and friends,
I knew Jim in the latter years of his days on earth.
It was a privilege to have known him and briefly knowing Chris & now hearing
The eulogy given at the service today. I was fortunate to already know some of
the details from a presentation Jim gave to our Catenian men’s group.
Vale Jim.
Regards,
Bernie Cosgriff.
