  1. To Maurie and family,

With fond memories of Joan’s welcome and friendship when we came to Gisborne and lived opposite in Prince Street. Our sincere sympathy to you.

  2. Dear Maurice – So sad I was not able to be there to celebrate Joan but have just ‘attended’ online. Joan was the first person to welcome me to my new church at St Brigid’s, back in 1995, when she invited me home. I was always so grateful to her for her warmth and friendship and I loved her. What a full and happy life. Love and strength Maurie.

  3. Deepest condolences to the to Maurice and his family. Thank you for a lovely Funeral Mass. A fitting dedication to a lovely lady.

  4. Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with you all at this sad time. Joan was an amazing person and loved by so many and will be sadly missed. Long time memories of Prince street growing up next door. We know this time is hard but take comfort and hold on to the memories you have of your loving wife, mother and grand mother. Viewed service via live stream which was beautiful.
Rest in peace Joan. All our love Mr Bourke, from Garry, Jenny Seddon and family. xx
