  1. So Beautiful to watch!
I am watching it again with mom and we feel so privileged to be able to share this with all the Stapletons. Wonderful photos and classic memories of Joanxxx. She was a remarkable person.

  2. Dear Stapleton Crew

What absolutely wonderful ceremony!! I remember Joan with such love and respect, and enjoyed spending time in Pylalong with she and animal family.
Lots of happy, loving thoughts to you ALLxxxxxxg

  3. So wonderful to hear the rich tapestry of Joan’s life bought to life – it was a privilege to watch such a beautiful service! A life well lived, authentic and unapologetic – an inspiration to all of us. Sad we didn’t get to share more of our lives together as one extended family but we have the strong bonds of our childhood years which connect us and the years ahead! Xx

  4. Well done to you all. I learnt so much and remembered more about Joan. Good to hear everyone’s words and to see you all. Give each other a hug this evening. Love is in the air…

  5. To the Southern Stapletons and families,

It was a beautiful service in memory of Joan. It bought tears and also a good laugh to Michelle and I. It brought back memories of being around the fire when I visited Pylon and remembering Sam doing brown-eyes on his BMX bike. I have fond memories also of you all piled into the VW rocking up at Buderim for a holiday. Those were the days.

Our thoughts are with you all. Your memories of your mum will live on
Love Matt, Michelle, Hayden and Lara

  6. Hi Tim, Sarah and family,

Well what an absolutely beautiful service and farewell for your mum and grandmother.
So many beautiful and treasured memories from your childhood and more recent years. I feel really privileged to have been able to share in those memories and learnt some things about Aunty Joan that I hadn’t known before today. She was such a talented and fiercely independent woman, who raised 4 really beautiful people. Sending you all hugs at this sad time.
    Lots of love
    Terri
