Following the service, the footage will be posted and you can watch at a later time if you were unable to watch at the time of the service.
Thank you pete for getting that service organised.. I thought it was well done and your photos were great and most of the family’s were included.
Give your mum a hug for us . The Campbells came around here and we watched together, then had a cuppa and a chat. I still think is time for you to bring Charlie to get dumped in the surf.(right of passage) Love to all and once again thank you for letting us join you and your family in saying goodbye to John Ewan Sherlock xx
Irene, Pete, Alex and Charlie,
Thank you for including me today to say farewell to John / your Dad / Pop.
That was a really lovely tribute, he would be very proud of his family.
Pete, listening to you, all the memories came flooding back! And of many of those stories you told me over the years.
Remember when your Dad got locked in his car? Was it a green Fairlane? He was really proud of that car. I remember too when he was still driving coaches and your Mum was working hard in the fish & chip shop. Think your Dad cooked us dinner there once or twice which might have involved chips from the shop! That was a great time in our lives and we had a lot of fun. I’m grateful to have been welcomed into your family so warmly by your parents.
Loved the music today, I can just imagine that quietly playing in the coach on the way to Sydney.
Well done. He’d be a happy man.
Julie-Anne sends her love.
Best wishes

Mum and I have just watched John’s memorial service. Well spoken Pete, and from the heart. So many memories in the picture video, enjoyed seeing old friends, relatives, in-laws and outlaws. Yes Peter, John was a very quiet person but also a giving person who was always on hand if there was anything you needed. Hug for Charlie, Irene and Alex on a difficult day, love Jodie and Jan. xxx
Thanks Peter for setting up this video. Loved the slideshow. Even thought I saw myself a couple of times..
Love to you all, Patrese, Warren and Zoe
