Our sincere condolences. John was a kind, gentle person and incredibly dedicated to supporting the East Timorese people. As a volunteer for the East Timor Human Rights Centre, I often saw John in his bookshop in the church on Napier Street and we always spoke at Timor solidarity events. We are unable to attend the memorial service or watch the livestream, but would like to watch the service later. Please add us to the list to receive the password when the footage becomes available. Thank you very much.
