  1. Thankyou for sharing Kate’s Service. Kate got me started with my golf, I loved her country style.

Loved the story about the 7 iron, she taught me to put the ball on my back foot to get out of the scrub from under the trees.

Kate shared many stories about her family and country life, during golf clinics at Albert Park.

My thoughts are with you all.

Kate Nolan….I will miss you forever…I can’t find the words to articulate my loss of you. The many stories and funny laughs we’ve had together travelling 100’s of hours across America, you would have found such delight in recalling them all again!!.. You are one of the funniest and the most kind person I’ve ever met. But, for the most part I will just keep those beautiful memories in my heart and cherish them forever. I love you x

  28. To Bernie and your lovely family.
Kate in her entirety was the definition of a champion. She brought the best out in me on and off the golf course and was one of the biggest reasons I decided to play for Victoria. She looked after me in our travels on the futures tour and picked me up off the side of the road in Illinois in that dodgy old car we nicknamed “the pimp mobile” when my travel buddy left me behind.

A Beautiful service. A wonderful friend. Will cherish the memories!
    Lots of love lindsey

  40. To the Nolan Family,

Words can’t begin to describe how much we will miss Kate. She was a close friend and an amazing golf instructor. I spent almost every Saturday afternoon with her over the last 3 years – we spoke about life, kids, golf, holidays and everything in between. Her spirit will live on in all of us.

Love Peter , Victoria , Christina and Jacinta

  41. I only knew Kate through her work (it’s a bit harsh to call it work when she loved it so much) as a golf instructor at Albert Park Driving Range. Her passion and generosity with her time and knowledge was inspiring for this part-time hack who ended her lessons ready to take on the world only to come back the next week for more. Forever grateful for crossing paths with such a wonderful spirit.

Condolences to her family and all who knew her.

  44. My dearest friend Kate …. the old times always suggest the golf history, but the memories imply the broken down car on the Futures Tour, the fish and chip shop in Torquay, or the weekend surf lessons on Phillip Island with Bernie. The recent memories are of you teaching my dad how to swing the club (as I never had the patience), and more recently introducing my 5 year old nieces to the game of golf. That same week in February I watched Jacqui dive at MSAC, then sit in the car chatting while Matt and Alistair finished cricket practice. All followed by a quick stop at the store, and then home to catch up with Bernie while we worked on a stir-fry together in the new house.

A friend taken too soon, a colleague gone before her time, and a family member always remembered for her kind ways and endless love. Maccas …. you can leave this world knowing that I will be eternally grateful for your kindness and friendship.

  45. To all of Kate’s loved ones,
We are all so devastated that she is no longer here. It is so shocking, and we still can’t believe it. It’s so so heartbreaking. It just doesn’t make any sense. We are sending you strength and love in this difficult time. We all loved her so much. We hope you continue to feel her love all around you.
Let’s all try to be more like Kate.
