you have passed, but our memories of you,
your legacy lives on in us.

We lived fast in those days – wild and reckless,

You played the long game with us.
You never tried to control us or talk down to us.
We were never met with anger or impatience,
always with kindness, concern and care.
You played the long game with us.
We are all most fortunate to have grown up with you.
We will miss you Kev, but you live on in all us who have known you.

  71. To Joan and all her wonderful family. Only a few weeks ago we met at another friend’s funeral Lyn Major. It was great talking with Kevin of past events at Bonnie Doon. The beautiful days we all spent up their, the laughs around the fire, playing golf at Mansfield, and the good nights at Crown Casino, and the trips up on the Murray. It is so sad that it is not possible to be there today to say goodbye. Joan my sad thoughts are with you and your family.

  72. Joan, Darren, Kerrie, Scott & respective families, Kevin was just one of those people that anyone was drawn too. He had time for people, and ask how you were travelling, even though he was fighting his own battle. He was a great man who instilled a great love of people in you all. Joan & Kevin raised 3 people who are just fantastic loving people. Love you all. xx RIP Kev

  73. To Joan and all the Family, We are very sad that we are all saying Goodbye to Kevin (Kev) and lots and lots of family and friends and everyone will miss that beautiful smiling face and the way he cherished all the people in his life. May his memories fill our times of recall and some of the “yarns” Kev was prone to tell. To know him was to love and admire him. Sincerely, Steve and Carol Hancock and Family xxxxxxxx
