  1. While Laurie passed many months ago I wanted to say something about him.
I knew Laurie from the Knox Woodworkers Group. Due to Lockdown restrictions I’ve only just back to Woodwork and today I watched the beautiful service to farewell Laurie.
I used to look forward to seeing Laurie’s smiling face greet me every Thursday morning on my arrival at the Club. He was a real gentleman with a beaming smile and always happy to help with any projects and pass on his enormous knowledge. Sincere condolences to Genielle and Laurie’s family. I will miss him greatly, especially that smile.

  2. My condolences to you and your family Genielle. I will always have very fond memories working with Laurie on difficult faults with Telstra in Croydon. He had an amazing mind for technology. I will never forget when he showed me the inside of your linen cupboard to be met with bright shiny brass taps and switches that controlled your under floor heating. I know he spent a lot of time under your house running the pipes. That is awesome. I am very sad to think that I was unable to attend his service but I did at least watch the video. Goodbye to a great man and friend. John Keating
