  1. This was a really beautiful celebration of Lawrence’s life and it was lovely to see all the Boston family gathered. So many memories of Tennyson Street in my Loyola days & the wonderful hospitality extended by Mrs B who had far too much to do already without another mouth to feed! Lawrence was always a gentle presence and I too realise I didn’t know very much about his life. Today’s eulogy was very special Jim. Love to all of you especially Ange – I am thinking of you

  3. Thank you Boston cousins for allowing me to share in the beautiful farewell you all put together for your baby brother Lawrence.

All the pictures brought smiles and love to me and I send love to you all.

  4. Thanks everyone. I loved watching the farewell to Lawrence. Watching his life
I realise that i had known so little of who Lawrence is. One thing i do remember him telling me with great conviction: Jim (Uncle Jim) is my mentor – I have learned everything from him. Lovely to catch a glimpse of all of you and to see the next generation. special love to Matthew who i got to know in Botswana at Fran’s jubilee. A beautiful service and a great eulogy . Thanks Jim. I have a great story about Gus and Lawrie: Monnie and Girlie had become devout oblates of st frances and Mon had been given a special blessed cord to wear around her waist in lieu of a habit. She couldn’t find it anywhere until she looked out to see Lawrie taking Gus for a walk with her oblate cord as a handy lead. Bless Lawrence and all of the cousins.
