What a truly remarkable woman.
I travelled with Margaret and my mother her cousin( Norma Gedye, nee Tully) to an Aunt’s funeral in Qld some 8 years ago. She was a school friend of my aunt Marie Goulter on my father’s side, so I had a two-sided connection to Margaret. The Goulter family remember her with fondness.
It was a lovely service for Margaret. I remember her being very gracious.
A truly wonderful lady, who had so much get up and go, who I don’t believe ever stopped to take a breath. Her Intelligence was a given, but her empathy and care for people was so amazing and she touched many lives. We were blessed to have her in our lives for a short time and we developed a very special connection, which made us better for that experience and created such wonderful memories.
She is now with God and I am sure she has been very busy rearranging how things should work.
With much love Patrick & Bernie Davidson
Ps. Jenny, John & Andrew well done and you should be pleased, you did her proud.
Your mother was a truly gracious woman.
I accompanied her and my mother her cousin ( Norma Ruth Gedye nee Tully) to a funeral in Qld maybe 8 years ago… for a good school friend of Margaret’s … Marie Goulter, who also happened to be my Aunt from my father’s side. Doncaster was country back then.. so families knew of each through schooling, orcharding etc.
My QLD cousins have always regarded her highly.
The service was beautiful and the insight into her work and life was amazing.
You have every reason to be very proud of her, and her life achievements.
Vale Margaret McGregor. I have very fond memories of you.
A lovely service for a truly inspirational woman! I feel blessed to have known her and spent time with her. She will always be remembered by me with great affection… and a sense of awe.
Deepest condolences to the family.
Julia and I watched Margaret’s Service- with both smiles and tears.
What an extraordinary life, and how blessed we have all been.
Mama’s abundant gifts will continue.
Her children- her greatest gifts- did her proud.
Jen, John and Andrew so very well said. A celebration of a wonderful life, a beautiful family that Brian, Paula, Christopher, Andrea and myself have been so fortunate to have had intertwined with ours over the very many years. Margaret you travelled well and was supported and cared for by your family past and present.
With Love always…
Margaret pioneered, innovated, inspired and loved – a force of nature. Such a privilege to witness this memorial to her life.
A person that departs this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds.
Rest in Peace Mama
