There is a new star above that outshines all the others.
Its brightness contains all the love, joy, grace, colour and compassion that was Muriel.
To know her was a privilege, she enriched the lives of all who entered her sphere.
Condolences to her family whom she loved so dearly.
Condolences to all the Povey family on the sad loss of Muriel. I knew Muriel through Probus and always found her to be a bubbly, happy and lovely lady. She always enjoyed telling me of her travels to Coldingham, Berwickshire, which was an area of Scotland very familiar to me as I have family there. Her beautiful smile and outgoing personality will be sadly missed.
To the beautiful Povey family, our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. We really appreciated Muriel’s final farewell in Martha’s Point today and being able to share the service with the family, thank you. Muriel was gracious, generous, hilarious, so very clever and the most loving person we’ve known. It was such a privilege to call her a friend and neighbour. Our love, God’s garden is really going to be picture perfect with Muriel’s touch. Gone but will never be forgotten. Big hugs to all the family. Bob & Verley

Dear Neil, Jane and Family,
Thank you so much for sharing your moving celebration of dear Muriel’s life. She was indeed a ‘special’ lady who will continue to occupy a place in all of our hearts.
Her kindness, wisdom and zest for life touched us all at Beleura House and Garden. I especially enjoyed my mornings in the kitchen when Muriel would volunteer in hospitality, those mornings were always such fun and I keenly missed our time together when I moved to a different department.
Never one to turn down a glass of champagne, she was always so happy and vibrant with a wonderful sense of mischief.
Our thanks go to her for all that she gave…
