After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Dear Paul,
We only recently learned that Murray had passed away and would like to express our most sincere condolences to you and your family.
Lots of fond memories of Murray at our gatherings with members of the Sherlock Holmes Society in Perth WA and dinners we had.
Murray was always very optimistic, had a great sense of humour and was fun to be around. He’ll be missed by many.
May he Rest In Peace.
Paul and Amina Schipp
Thank you for inviting us to join you for Murray’s service. We enjoyed meeting Murray at Doreen and Gordon’s years ago and the subsequent letters, emails and phone calls. Even though he was in Australia and we are in the UK, he was still part of our family. We will miss him very much. We won’t forget him.
Our condolences to Murray’s family in Australia from his UK family. Murray’s cousin Gordon, my father, passed away in 2015 but we are still in touch with Louise in Perth so she sent us the link. You had Murray summed up very well. My husband picked him up once from Southampton and it was then a 4 hour journey home. Murray talked all the way back!
I didn’t get up in the middle of the night ! so am catching up now

Dear Paul,
thank you, that I , an overseas friend, had the opportunity to be part of this familiar celebration and could say good- bye to Murray together with you. It was the first time I could see you and other members of the family. That was great for me, also the pictures of Murrays life. The live stream worked the whole time without the slightest malfunction. Wish you and your family all the best. Kind regards

Paul and Susan,
What a lovely relaxed service. Plenty of humour that reflected Murray’s approach to life.
It was heartwarming to see the family gather to say their goodbyes.
The love shone through.
It would have brought out a trademark smile if Murray could have watched the streaming.
Thanks for letting us in to be part of it.
Sending love from us both.

Paul, I couldn’t get over the strong family resemblance between you and my brother Jim, who was James Trevor Hewett.

Once this current situation is over I would love to be able to meet up with you and your family and for you to meet my girls; after all you are 2nd cousins.
