Our deepest sympathy to Barry and family. Mitzi was an amazing lady and we will always remember her for her wonderful spirit and encouragement to both of us. A beautiful lady.
Beautiful tribute to such an inspiring person who always made the best of things, lived a great life and contributed so much to the community. My mum (Val Parks) loved meeting up with Mitzi in a friendship maintained since they both worked for Roy Morgan many years ago. Thinking of Barry and family at this sad time.
Nan was the strongest woman i ever met and known, and what she battled through in her life, now me being diabetic i learnt a lot from her.
She finally met our daughter this year and held her for the first time, after seeing her grow up via social media cause of the pandemic here in Victoria, and was the happiest day introducing my daughter to nanny and pa in person after being told i couldn’t have children.
And it hurts knowing that was the last time i would ever see nan and my daughter seeing her great grandmother, my daughter will know who she is and was.
Sorry we couldn’t be there today because of the pandemic in Victoria but we were watching via the live stream, love from Luke, Phoebe and Evaleigh, thinking of you Pa and Aunty Caz.
Mum, I’m such a lucky man that you passed on your traits to Julie.. your weekly phone calls meant the world to us.. Julie would tell me all the news from you.. I knew from the first time I met you that you were an amazing woman .. Caz, thank you for being such a pillar . Barry .. words can’t express the sorrow we all feel having lost a truly wonderful mother. Grandmother and great grandmother.. as soonas we are able we will be down as I know family needs family at all times ..
R.I.P. Mitzi. You can now rest. Thank you for being you…
Thank you for sharing Mitzi’s life with me today, I can certainly see where your beautiful personality, tenacity and soul has come from. And, what an amazing love story with Barry x
I remember seeing nanny and pa in Queensland when i was younger and they took me to Southbank for the day and i still remember that day to this day, and this year they finally met my daughter for the first time in person, they saw her grow up through social media, the smile on their faces were priceless and will never forget it, my daughter will always be reminded who her great grandmother was.
Thinking of Pa and Aunty Caz today love from Luke, Phoebe and Evaleigh.
Dear Barry, Caroline & Family,
Sincere condolences for your loss.
That was a wonderfull celebration of a life lived to the fullest

Our love and thoughts to you all xx00 Mitzi was an amazing woman and an inspiration of positisvity. We loved her. I’d like to think of her and Mum catching up for lunch as we speak. Xx
A wonderful service and dedications to an amazing person. The photos reminded me of her constant positive outlook on life with all of her challenges, met with wonderful smiles. Big love and hugs to Barry, Caroline and family. Many wonderful memories to cherish.
Dear Barry and Caroline,

Dear Caz and all of your family and Dad we were truly sorry to hear this news of your beautiful Mum. Our heartfelt condolences to all of you at this difficult time. No doubt you are an amazing daughter. Enrica and Team at Global Forwarding.
My thoughts are most certainly with you Barry. This is without doubt a bleak and sad time for you and Caroline. That’s unavoidable.
But there have been good times too. So many good friends and life experiences together. These are the memories that will sustain and support you. Keep them alive.
It works.
Sincerely,
Dale Bromley.
So many never-to-fade memories of times Morrie and I shared with Mitzi and Barry, especially from the earlier days of television (1960s) – we were privileged to be part of the flying-by-the-seat-of-the-pants’ exploits of news cameramen. Over the years we would sit around the dinner table (Mitzi was one of the best hostesses ever) and wonder how all the craziness would come together.
I remember when the first discussions took place regarding formation of the Vic. branch of the ACS – I think it would be fair to say that this association would not have flourished as it did without the untiring input of Barry and Mitzi.
A great team in every way – Barry was always just a step away and Mitzi made it easy for everyone to dismiss the fact that she lived with a most challenging health condition – she was truly an inspirational role model and her spirit will always be close by.
Love to Mitzi’s loved ones from Ruth Pilens and family.
Dear Barry and Family
We would like to pay tribute to Mitzi. We will miss her kindness, friendly nature and infectious laugh. Our thoughts are with you all during this time of loss.
Warmest regards from your long time friends,

Dear Barry, Caroline and family,
My sincere condolences on the passing of Mitzi. It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it, her determination and strength was infectious and just part of the charisma she exuded. Of course the Victorian branch of the ACS has so much to be grateful for after her the years of contribution. Sending love and strength to you at this time.
Joanne
Dear Barry & Caroline
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mitzi. She was a very stoic individual fighting many health battles but always kept moving forward. She made a great contribution to the ACS always supporting Barry in a time of transition for the Victorian Branch.
So very sorry to hear of your Mum’s passing. I was such a lost soul following my bilateral below knee amputation. When I met Mitzi in rehab I felt I met an angel. Such a courageous, insightful beautiful person. Despite fighting her own health issues, she tenderly guided me through my first weeks. Actively instructing me, my husband, son and daughter on how to live life post amputation. She was such a positive energy source. The world has lost a bit of light with her passing. Please share my words with friends and loved ones if it will bring comfort to those mourning her. Warmest regards Minna Lederberger
We know there is so little we can do to help you all bear the pain of loss you all are feeling, and so little we can say to help you all through the day.
But may you know our deepest love and sympathy are with you.
May the precious memories you hold in your heart remain forever.
“I will always remember Mitzi’s sweet smile when we visited your home (in fact whenever we saw you both). She sure was an inspiration to all of us.”

Barry, it was a great shock to us, our condolence to you and Caroline at this very sad time.
