REST EASY MY FRIEND
Such a lovely memorial. Yes he was a great bloke. My sincerest condolences to you all. With all my heart Emma
Rest easy Nicko.
Beautiful service and an absolute privilege to reminisce on his wonderful fulfilling life.
We met back in 1964/65 when I was auditioned to play bass in your band and I’m so thankful I was accepted. Not just because it created a couple of wonderful, good fun years but because you and I became lifelong friends, the best a guy could wish for. I’m so upset that I missed you 2 weeks ago when I was in Melbourne and you told me I could come up on the train, stay overnight and we could have a good feed at the local and of course a few beers together. I called Nick on the Monday to say I was coming the next day but he was in hospital, the doctor arrived and we had to close the call. I called back a few days later but you’d already left for the huge arena in the sky. I miss you mate, and will never forget the fun times together. Your old pal Mike, whom you affectionately called Jock.
Always a great bloke to meet, to talk to, to drink with. So good to see such a well deserved send off.
Memories of Moreland High School kept flooding back.
Many great memories from 79 G Final ,dining at Sachas etc Carlton selectors ears will be burning a little less now.
