  1. Dear Drew family, Ursula and friends,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father, grandfather, great grandfather and dear friend. I am a fellow parishioner of St John Vianney’s Catholic Church. I may have only known Peter for a short period of time. Know that he and all of you have been in my prayers over these last couple of weeks. I look to Peter as a great inspiration of what true faith and love of all is and what I can only try to emulate. Peter’s many years of suffering in silence is united with Christ our Lord. May he rest in peace.
    Warmest regards,
    Clare Monea

  2. To the whole Drew family. My deepest condolences for the loss of Peter. Unfortunately, I was not able to be there today, but I did follow the whole service on stream this evening. Thank you for sharing his beautiful story in celebration of his life. I first met Peter whilst working at GMH Fishermen’s Bend. He was always a thorough gentleman with impeccable integrity, full of care and compassion for others.
He came to see the Passion Play at Rufey Lake Park Doncaster one Easter but then I lost trace of him till, by chance, I saw his funeral notice last week.
He was a good and holy man who lived an exemplary life. May you rest in peace Peter until we meet again.
