  1. Our sincere condolences to Shelley at this profoundly sad time and to Rob, Vicky and Tim for the untimely loss of a much loved son and brother. Unbelievable series of sad events for this family, much love to you all and especially Shelley sending you love and courage for the days ahead- Arohanui June and Mike Grant

  3. A wonderful service and a privilege for us to be included in NZ. I was watching after a night shift… though Rich would laugh that I was at his funeral in my nightie. Great memories of the famous banana cake. Love to Shell, her family and all the Holsties.

  4. Kua hinga te totara i te wao nui o Tane- Maori proverb- A mighty tree has fallen in the great forest of Tanemahuta. Richards presence will be greatly missed on this earth Shelley, especially by you, and by all who loved him. The great respect and love shown by his friends at his ceremony, marks the measure of the man, and he would be pleased to know that he wisely chose his life companions, and was rewarded by their loyalty and love for him. Especially his love for you Shelley, shone through the darkness like a beacon of hope, illustrating what real love looks like – he would be berating himself for leaving you, but have no worries that he will always be with you, a love like yours never fades. Arohanui- June Grant

  6. A wonderful service for the greatest guy. We treasured our times with you in Melbourne and NZ. Your great smile and positivity is a lesson for us all. Great memories of Caulfield Whips and Spurs, Melbourne Cup (We still have the disposable chairs), the Bush Inn, the Waqar, and Live Aid. You were also the only bloke who could knock over a life time supply of muscat in one evening – about time we refilled the barrel in your honour. Rest peacefully Holsty and all out love goes out to you Shelly.
    Love Pete and Robyn
