  1. Hi Sheron, Rob, and families

A beautiful ceremony for your loving dad, lovely words, and memories , hope he’s floating in the universe having a cup of tea and a plate of sandwiches with your mum.
    Lots of love
    Denise ❤️

  2. Hi Sheron,

Beautiful words and beautiful memories of a beautiful and awesome man

Many blessings to you all on this special day for sending off Rob to eternal peace and now in God’s care where He has prepared for him a room of many in his house.

    Chris Ashdowne

  3. Bev and I are sorry we were unable to be present at this truely lovely Service. Rob will always be fondly remembered as a family friend. We enjoyed many great holidays together and it was always a delight to be invited to his home to enjoy his lovely home cooked meals..

May you rest in peace mate; I will miss the many chats we shared about the hopeless politicians running our Country.

  4. Thank you, Rob, for not just being such a big part of my Nanna’s life, but mine too. I will forever treasure the memories shared with you, especially in Queensland, at Christmases and birthday celebrations. You were always so easy to chat to and you had such warmth about you. Trav will always remember the lively conversations you had about racing and how friendly and welcoming you were towards him.

Say hi to Nanna and Grandad up there! Rest in peace.

    Love always,
    Gemma (Ashdowne) and Travers Simmons

    1. Remembering with fondness a lovely man who always made time for us. From enjoying great conversations especially at Christmas and Easter gatherings (and usually over a glass or 2 of red), birthday celebrations, dance concerts, and the odd game or two of ‘Up the river’. Many wonderful memories to treasure. Thanks ffRoboir the memories Rob. Thinking of you Sheron, Merryl and family especially at this time. Go gently. Gayle, Sophie (& Chris) Ashdowne
