Fond memories of days gone bye with “Stanley Steamer” a nickname I gave him with his experience working with steam trains in the UK. We worked for many years together at Buchanan and Brock first at Lorimer St S Melbourne and then in Kensington. Stan was 5 years my senior and there are a million stories and experiences of my days with him. A good man who I have so many fond memories of. See ya later Stanley until we meet again. What a beautiful service. Larry you really delivered a beautiful tribute to your Dad. He would have been proud and you painted such a vivid and warm picture of a lovely, generous, gregarious man. He certainly lived life to the full. Beautiful words from James and Jake too. Great photos helped paint the picture!

A lovely memorial everyone.
I will always remember the many times I would happen upon Stan & Shirl at Green st. Stan was always happily engaged and keen to listen to what ever adventure I had to regale him with. He always struck me as a strong man with a sensitive, worldly spirit. I’m very glad to have known him.
Thank you for arranging this remote opportunity for us to take part in his farewell.
With you in Heart and Soul ,thinking of you all .
Lots of love Tracey xxxxx
