  4. Stuey,

The man with a heart of gold
The gentle giant and that he was
The story teller who was never short on one
The warmth his smile brought to the office each day
His caring nature, assistance and advice, all this and more I will miss dearly.

  5. Dear Stu, It was only days ago you were with us at work. I can’t process that you’re gone and am expecting you’ll still be here as normal at my next handover to your team. Despite looking so scary you were the true Gentle Giant as everyone has described. Thankyou so much for your friendship. Thanks for all your stories ( even if the plots were often similar! ). And thanks so much for all your patience and help at work. You were a guru – a wealth of knowledge and many times I had to call you on your personal mobile at home at some ungodly awful hour of the morning ( even when you were on holidays! ) yet you were always available and never got angry. This was often after consulting with some of the bank’s most senior managers – we’d all be struggling to come up with a solution to a problem but the result was often the same: “We need Stu!”. You were always there for us and would support us to the end. We will miss you so much!

  6. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Watching this moving service showed that stu was a fortunate man, he felt the joys of true love and for that I feel comforted knowing he lived a happy life. I will always remember Stu’s beaming smile at the doors of Retro… and the bond I had the pleasure of being close too between Stu and James… I’m forever thankful to have known Stu and grateful for him always looking out for the then young country gal.. RIP xxx

  7. Our love, thoughts and support are with Ang and Electra today and always. Love to the rest of the family especially Mum and Dad. Stuart is now at peace and until we see him again, we will cherish his memory and miss him dearly. Love from Gavin, Tania, Kara, Corey, Shane, Michael, Emily, Shanai, Augustus, Jackson and Zander. xxxooo

  8. HI Angela, Electra, James and all Stu’s family. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of his service. It was a wonderful tribute. Stuart was a wonderful person. A giving, caring and unselfish man who always went above and beyond. His work ethic was second to none. I knew i could always count on him. The thing that comes to mind for me is, Stu and i shared a love for movies. I’m a movie buff and i didn’t think anyone could ever match that but every movie i mentioned Stu had seen. And that is something i will hold dear. I will miss him terribly My thoughts and prayers are with you all. The comfort i have is knowing Stu is at peace with our Father in Heaven. RIP my friend until we meet again.

  9. Stu 45 years young, we will miss you. Taken way too soon…such a gentle giant and wonderful man
We were so happy that you had found your soul mate in Angela and it was so wonderful to see you both so happy together at your wedding. So sad that we don’t get to see anyone as much as we would have wanted to living interstate.
Much love to Angela and Elecktra, your mum and Dad and your brother’s and their families
So strange to watch without being able to be there, wishing we could give you all hugs in person
    Jason and Clare

    Rest in peace beautiful man.

  12. Stu came into my life 18 years ago when I transferred into his team at ANZ. We hit it off instantly and would talk and laugh everyday. He was the gentlest of men with a huge heart. He filled a room, not just with his size but with love, compassion and an amazing zing for life. The last time I bumped into him at work (just a couple of months ago) he gave me the biggest hug and it was clear that although his health was not the best, he was the happiest I had ever seen him.
My condolences to his family and friends and especially to Angela. He was a special man and I’m glad he found you. You made him so happy and he was so proud to be your husband.

We are all better people from having had Stu in our lives. Bec

You will forever be in my thoughts and my heart. I will remember and cherish our Martial Arts nights training and celebrations but more special our weekly dinners
Gone too soon but never forgotten

    1. It is so sad that we have lost another working mate at ANZ late Br Stuart .
I have worked with him at International Operations area and at one stage our Department had shift duties and I was fortunate to have him on my shift and we had a very good working relationship . His attitude was such that he most of the time supported me on various projects and cultural diversity we used to organise at ANZ 570 Church Street Richmond . A great person he was in all areas he loved to be involved . Will mis him . Condolences to the bereaved families on the unexpected demise of Br Stuart . May his soul rest in peace . Amen
