I really enjoyed bowling with Wayne and was pleased when he returned to play last season. He was great to play with and a calming influence. It was a really nice service and I feel that I know Wayne much better now. Other members have expressed their condolences when the news of Wayne’s passing was circulated. Maree Brooker, Essendon Bowls Club,
Such amazing memories of a cousin . We grew up in the days of family gatherings, fun get togethers , sleep overs in school holidays and lots of good times with all the cousins.
Wayne was always the quiet one, patient and unassuming but kind and thoughtful with a wicked twinkle in his eye.
To Katrina and family our condolences and sending our love. How lucky you all were to have him in your life.
A great tribute to a fantastic brother-in-law. Wayne had the patience of a saint and his intelligence and knowledge was boundless. You will be greatly missed by all. R.I.P Wayne Frederick Philip
To Marianne, Katrina, Michael, Evie and Christian – Condolences and heartfelt sympathy to you all.
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance
