  1. Dear Jen, Marg, Cathie & Peter—such a personal & caring tribute for such a special person. Bill was a wonderful person with very strong values —obviously inherited by his lovely family. The end of an amazing Aitken era —looking forward to an extended family get-together to celebrate his life. Love & thoughts to you all —Barb & Suzanne & families

  2. What a wonderful service for a kind and generous man, i can see his traits in all of you. I shed a few tears at the family photos and did laugh at some of your stories what a great life your mum and dad gave you.
Much love to you all and hopefully a catch up to celebrate your wonderful dad is not far off,

  3. To Jenny, Margaret, Cathy and Peter thank you all for allowing us to be with you as you shared your indivdual experiences of having Bill as your Dad. By the time we moved into Long View Rd you had all left home, so your memories were especially poignant. We were privilaged to enjoy extra time that your Dad had once he was retired. Bob was always up for a chat with Bill when the garage door was open and he could hear your Dad fixing something.
Your folks also kindly allowed us and our two children to enjoy a short holiday at Apolllo bay, so we could visualise your holiday memories when there. It was good to be with you all in spirit today and we know the legacy of your parents values are in good hands.
Sincere condolences from us both Liz and Bob
