Thank you for the streaming of Ian’s memorial, we had the pleasure of being neighbours & became good friends to Ian & Kerryn at Yulara. We consider ourselves very privileged to have met Ian, what a beautiful person he was. He will always be in our hearts.

What a beautiful send off for Powelly, it’s been 32 years since I went to work for him in Koowee.
We have always stayed in touch especially since Facebook was invented, we have moved in different circles since I left koowee but boy we have had great chats when Kerryn and Powelly where travelling.
I learnt so much from him as a 17 year old that set me up for life. Between him and Wilba my 2 best mates from my years in koowee. Remember he is loved all over Australia for being himself as he had a heart the size of pharlap.
I’m sorry I couldn’t make the trip down from Darwin but my thoughts are with you all.
