After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
This service will have a password applied once edited, you will then need to contact the family for the password to access.
Following the service, the footage will be posted and you can watch at a later time if you were unable to watch at the time of the service.
Dear Jane, Brett and Tim,
Thanks so much for sharing your Dad’s service with us. It was a true reflection and celebration of who he was. My Dad Robert Horne also a geologist. Dad and Ewen worked together in Geita on the Geita Gold Mine and our families became friends at that time and remained friends always – Ewen always wrote to us at Christmas, even after Dad and Mum had passed.

Ewen was such an amazing man with achievements few could even imagine. He was also such a kind and generous man who made me feel like a million dollars every time I met him. A true gentleman who will be missed.
Thank you Ewen for everything, you are our example, we miss you . you will be in our memory for ever.

Ewen lived his life full of the wonder of God. Jesus said to enter the Kingdom of God we must be as a child; I see that as meaning we must have a child’s sense of wonder. That is just as Ewen did, he never lost that sense of wonder. A great man.

What a moving farewell to such a wonderful man. Jane’s beautiful eulogy was a joy to listen to as was Tim’s contribution in his absence.
I have fond memories of both Ewen and Aldyth during my time at St. Martin’s in 1974/5 and again in the 1980s. Rest in Peace Ewen.
