  1. Dear Rosemary & Jeffrey,
My deepest condolences on the passing of your dear father, Vincent. Your mother, Lynette, was my cousin. I have so many fond memories of days long gone, visits to my Auntie Em (as she will always be to me) in her lovely home at Walsh Street. My mother, Jane, worked for your grandmother in Collins Street. Again, I have such memories of climbing that enormous staircase and having some lunch with them as they worked on beautiful gowns. Vincent and Lynette came and looked after my brother and I one time, before you were born, while our parents went on a holiday together. We had such fun with them and I remember Vincent coming bike riding with us. He was always such a quiet, gentle and funny man and he was so devoted to Lynette. I saw the two of you just a few times as you were children and I lost touch with your parents after I moved away from Melbourne and then your grandparents died. Rosemary, you are so like your mother, having her grace, poise and lovely smile. It was a very special service for Vincent, he would have been so humbled and proud of your participation and the help of Ben. It was so good to be able to see it online.
    Warm wishes, Ann

  2. Rosey and Family I was very moved by the simple and dignified service for Vincent, thank you. It is enriching to hear about the life of someone so kind and unassuming as him.
    Love to you all.
(I hope this isn’t a replicated comment my original disappeared).
