After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
This service will have a password applied once edited (normally within 3 to 5 days following the service), you will then need to contact the family for the password to access.
Following the service, the footage will be posted and you can watch at a later time if you were unable to watch at the time of the service.
To a beautiful strong woman who had a twinkle in her eye. Gloria was cherished and loved. She always welcomed Emma and Lucie friends to their home with a beaming smile.

A fitting tribute to a fine human being. Gloria will be missed by all who knew her and in particular her children and grandchildren. We will never forget Gloria & Trevor’s wedding day and the wedding breakfast at Hollingworth Lake.

A fitting tribute to a fine human being. It was my honour to be best man at their wedding reciprocated about 18 months afterwards when Trevor was mine. Barbara says how grateful she was that Gloria welcomed her to the fold when we first started courting. In many ways our lives followed similar paths ,we both had two daughters , until they moved to Australia, when distance and communication were not as convenient as nowadays so we were not in as close contact as we would have liked. Nevertheless we would meet up whenever they returned and had the pleasure of meeting up with all the extended Dawson family a few years ago. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all her family members and Emma and Lucie’s tributes were most appropriate.

I’m so sorry we were unable to view the funeral live. We’ve recently moved temporarily to the Bert Newton Centre, and. we are here for rehab care and treatment. Unfortunately I was required to do a session with one of the nurses and couldn’t escape it. Rosemary also had a seperate appointments.
We’ve both been very good friends with Gloria for many years. She was a person with a “heart of gold” and we all were poms in the textiles industry and often got together as members of the Textile Institute. She was a wonderful and caring person, and a very capable textile technologist. English by birth, as both Rosemary and I were, we had a lot in common and would count both her and Trevor as best of mates. Our best wishes go to Trevor and family. We’re sure she was greatly loved and all her family will miss her and remember her kindness and professionalism both in her working life and with her many friends. Rosemary and I both truly loved her and will miss her immensely. It hasn’t been easy because we live some distance apart, and I am suffering from Alzheimers and accordingly can’t drive any more. To Trevor remember mate you will always be welcome take a break in Geelong. After many years living in Jan Juc we have recently moved into Geelong in an apartment overlooking. Corio Bay. It has four beds and in easy walking to the front in Geelong and the many restaurants. So don’t hesitate to come on down!
