To the Family
Ian and I are very grateful to Dr Anastasios for safely delivering our two children, Simone and David at South Eastern Hospital in 1981 and 1983 in Noble Park.
I was a patient of Dr Barry Butler, but as both our babies decided to arrive one week earlier than expected, Dr Anastasios was on duty that weekend!
He came twice for each baby in the very early hours of the morning, without any complaint for disturbing his sleep.
We remember him as a very calm, courteous man who gave us a lot of confidence in his competency.
With our respects and admiration.
Anne and Ian McKenzie
Great memories, love to you all from Cheryl. Susie, Andy and Tick
So sorry, we cannot be with you today. Uncle Jim was the most amazing and wonderful person. He will remain an inspiration to all of us.
We miss you very much and wish you were here with us. The world is definitely a lesser place now he is no longer here.
Love to you all,
Troy, Ann, Caitlin and Isabelle
We’re so grateful to have been able to share Jim’s memorial with you all. We’ve been a mess of tears and laughter through them, listening and watching your memories unfold on the screen. Jim was a forever stalwart presence on the edge of our lives here in WA, with occasional rare live experiences when we managed a trip over east or he came here with Diane or family members. It was truly wonder-full to be close to you and him during this deeply moving service. We will miss him with love Chris & Nancy & family.
Very saddened by the news of Jim’s passing. Deepest thoughts and prayers are with Jim’s family. Jim and Dad (Ivo) were lifelong mates, and Jim’s name was always held with the highest fondness and respect within our family.
Rest in peace Jim
So sorry we couldn’t be with you in person today. We are thinking of you all at this time. Uncle Jim was an amazing and inspirational person. We are all so lucky to have had such a wonderful person in our lives.
Love you all,
Troy, Ann, Caitlin and Isabelle
We have been with you by video link.
We will miss this wonderful, warm and caring person. He was the best friend that Ivo ever had.
To Dianne and all the family: please accept our love and condolances.
Be well and be strong.
What a legacy Jim has left. It’s beautiful to see a part of him in every member of the family. Jim’s influence lives on through you all, a testament to the impact he had on those closest to him.
Rest in peace, Jim.
Katherine & family, such a beautiful service, yourself your siblings, neices, & nephew done an amazing job paying tribute to your beautiful father/grandfather. I never met him but after today I got to know the beautiful & amazing human he was. May he RIP. Hold each tight through this tough period. ❤️Marie Middleton
Thank you for a wonderful service which brought Jim’s life alive for us again.
God bless you Dr. Jim. I feel proud to have not only worked with you for years at SEPH, but for the tenderness you gave when delivering my fourth son.
Much love to the Anastasios family upon the passing of Jim. He was a wonderful, kind, gentle man who will be missed by so many.
Yes the world is diminished and Jim was a real man, an example to be followed.
I’m going to get busy living this life.
Well done on that beautiful tribute.
I think I’ve learned the meaning of life.
And thanks for that magnificent song performance one of my favourites and beautifully done.
I watched this on my deck and a kookaburra was sitting quietly in a tree listening too.
I best better start getting curious and living.
Thank you
In loving memory of Uncle Jim
A gentle soul, a kind heart.
Rest in peace.
