Streaming of Funeral Service
Streaming of footage will commence 15 minutes prior to the start time of the service.
After watching the service online, if you can leave a guest message to let the family know you have joined into the service, that would be greatly appreciated.
This service will have a password applied once edited, you will then need to contact the family for the password to access.
Following the service, the footage will be posted and you can watch at a later time if you were unable to watch at the time of the service. Please note, footage will only be available for 1 year from the time of the service.
Frau Funder was always cheerful and full of energy. Every class she walked in either with a smile, singing a song, or playing funny videos she couldn’t wait to share, which made learning feel lighter and more enjoyable. What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared about her students’ understanding. She always took the time to explain things clearly and never made anyone feel bad for struggling. Even when I was struggling in class, she found ways to break the work down and help it finally make sense to me. And even though I was sometimes a pain in the butt and tested her patience, she still smiled and had a good mood. She was a truly wonderful teacher and will be deeply missed.
As I remember Catherjne, my thoughts immediately go to her smile and cheerfulness as she would walk around the school. Her care of her staff and students and passion for the Languages was always evident. A beautiful service honoring Catherine which in my ways reflected her smile and enthusiasm for whatever she was doing .

Our heartfelt condolences. Thank you for allowing us to be part of Catherine’s celebration of life. My time at Highvale finished some time ago, but Catherine has remained in my memory as a wonderful and very talented German teaching colleague.

What a heart-felt and fitting service for Catherine and those photos bought back so many memories of her earlier life in the 60s and 70s. As is often the case with funerals, you find out so much more about a person than you think you knew. She will be missed.
