  1. It was such a lovely service Jenny. I am finding it hard to type as I am still crying. As Don and Rod said it did not matter whether it was one week or one year, Hugh was always the same. Sending you all our love and support. x

  2. Went to Longerenong Agricultural college with Hugh, played footy with him for Seaford. Shared car rides to Melbourne where we both worked.
    Many good memories with Hugh.
    Apex for a while.
Rest in peace mate thanks for the laughs, boy didn’t it fly!

  3. What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful man who lived life to the full and was much loved and respected by all.
We David and Maxeen would not be together if Hugh had not introduced us at a Seaford footy club “meet the coach” night 55 years ago. David says he has only just forgiven him !!
To all Hugh’s family and friends we send our loving thoughts, thank you for allowing us to share in this celebration of his life.
May he Rest in Peace xx

  7. I first met Hugh McLean in my early days as the City Valuer for the City of Mordialloc. I have fond memories of a wonderful cheerful man who was always willing to share information – especially his property knowledge. From the time I first met him I knew he was someone I could rely on to help me out when needed. Deepest sympathy to Jenny and family. Regards Pauline Lawson
