  1. I met Vyrna and Rolf through Canto Coro and have lovely memories of chatting over cups of tea (provided by Rolf & Vyrna) during breaks from singing.

  2. I met Vyrna & Rolf when singing with Canton Coro. I usually sat next to Vyrna and Rolf would be behind us in the basses. With two such strong singers near me I had no problems keeping in tune!
Thinking of you all and sharing happy memories of many cups of tea & cake (provided by Rolf & Vyrna) during breaks from singing.

  3. Dear Margie, Anna, Lindi, Erica, and all Rolf’s and Vyrna’s family!
We are privileged to have shared with you the lovely thanksgiving celebration of Rolf’s full, fulfilled life, as we were privileged to have shared his and Vyrna’s friendship for over half a century. Your heart-warming memorials moved us deeply.
As we could not share stories with you after the service, (Margie, sincere thanks for sending the link) I would like to tell you about an exchange I had with Vyrna, when we met for a coffee. I asked her if Rolf, then sinking into Alzheimer, was still his lovely, gentle self. “Oh yes!” came her enthusiastic assurance, then added by way of demonstration: ‘’Yesterday evening we took Gia for a walk. Rolf held her lead, I was beside him, pushing my mobility frame. He looked down at me sympathetically, and very kindly asked, “could I push that thing for you?”
Our prayers and very best wishes,

  5. Sending much love and condolences to you all on the passing of Rolf. My fondest memory of Rolf is at the opening of the Warrina wing in TTHA. His hearty handshake and big, friendly smile was heartfelt and genuine warmth. I am glad he and Vyrna will be reunited once again. Sincerely,

  7. Hello, I’m from Canto Coro, and I was planning to attend the live-stream today. Unfortunately I have internet problems today, and so I’ll have to watch the video later. I’m very sorry I’m unable to join you!
