The service painted a picture of Ruby as a wonderful woman who will be much missed, and fondly remembered, by many people.
    With deepest sympathy

  2. I have just watched the service on line here in the UK. It was a very moving service and brought back to mind the time that Bob and Ruby visited my Mum and Dad, Harry and Ann in Woking. My husband and I had the great pleasure of meeting them and spending a happy afternoon with them.
Will.make sure we keep in touch x

  3. I have very happy memories of my time spent as a trainee nurse with Ruby at the Warrnambool Base Hospital (now South West Health Care) in the early Fifties especially in the T B WARD where we worked in isolation from the main Hospital & Ruby always made sure that beside the care given it was a pleasant place to be for patients and staff. Rest peacefully dear Ruby & belated thanks for your care of Ron. Jean (O’Grady) Smith

  4. To my cousins, Linda, Robbie, Mark & Helen. Auntie Ruby has always held a special spot in my heart and my regret is not keeping up our correspondence. Rest in eternal peace Auntie Ruby knowing the love you’ve been blessed with by family and friends far and wide. ❤️ Thank you to Linda for informing me of today’s funeral so I could view it.
    Love to you all. Alwyn

  7. Dear Linda, Gemma and David,
That was such a beautiful service, we were glad to be present, even if online. You gave a wonderful summary of your mother’s life, Linda, and the readings were very moving. Such lovely photos of Ruby, and the flowers were also magnificent. Hope this beautiful service brings you all some comfort. All our best thoughts, Judith and Robert xxx

I am thinking of you as you share memories of Ruby’s life. May the warmth and comfort of lovely memories someday replace the sadness you are feeling now. With deepest sympathy.

  11. Our dear Auntie Ruby. Sending lots of love and sincere condolences to your beautiful family.
I will treasure our last conversation after the arrival of our latest little grandson, Jack Lee Benzie. Reminiscing about the past, you spoke of “your Bob and my Bob” with such love, tenderness and mirth. Rest peacefully dear Auntie Ruby. xx
