  1. Our hearts go out to you Ali, and all the kids. Barney was a beautiful human and we will miss him painfully…but thinking of him and how he made us laugh over the years…will always bring a smile to our faces! The memorial service you arranged was a wonderful tribute and although we couldn’t attend, watching live, made us feel like we were there. Sending much love ❤️xxx

  2. Ali, Johnny and family,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Out little nook on Catherine Street will never be the same, just running into Steve out the front, seeing his big smile and having a chat and a laugh. We will all miss him.

  12. I am Steven’s sister in law, youngest sister of his wife Alison.
Steven was the first of Alison’s friends to be really nice to me, ‘the kid sister’. He has always held a special place in my heart. I loved that he came back into Ali’s life ten years ago & just wished they had been able to enjoy many more years together.
